National Census heeft een geavanceerd platform ontwikkeld om betrouwbare gegevens uit het veld te verzamelen, vooral in de ontwikkelingslanden. Het platform combineert recente ontwikkelingen op het gebied van kunstmatige intelligentie (machine learning) met smartphone-applicaties om gegevens van hoge kwaliteit te verzamelen. National Census maakt gebruik van machine learning op satellietbeelden om onderzoeksdoelen nauwkeurig te identificeren, volgt en monitort tellers in realtime met behulp van smartphone-applicaties, en gebruikt spraak- en beeldanalyse om automatisch de kwaliteit van verzamelde gegevens te analyseren.
